    Making a Big Impact For Big Hearts

    ESP serves children and young adults with developmental disabilities and their families through their year-round thrive programs, family support, and community involvement. One of ESP’s programs is offering family support by creating opportunities for the whole family through family retreats, counseling, and holiday events. ESP’s largest program is their summer camp that runs over 8 weeks and offers day camp, overnight camp, and field trips.

    Good Samaritan Health Center

    Health Care for the Poor and Uninsured

    Good Samaritan Health Center of Gwinnett serves the north metropolitan Atlanta area.

    Their healthcare services are made available exclusively to the poor and uninsured who very often are unemployed or underemployed. The center creates savings for the community by being affordable and easily accessible for their patients. 

    The value of services they render represent the likely uncollectible debt the hospital system would experience if not for our charity medical clinic.

    In addition to these savings, the impact of their programs extend to the improved quality of life to their patients and their families, reduced loss of productivity in the workplace due to illness, and increased exposure and sensitivity among rising medical professionals to the needs of the poor and uninsured.

    Quinn House

    Angel Tree Fundraiser

    Located in downtown Lawrenceville, Georgia for the past 25 years, the Quinn House is a multi-task, non-profit Outreach Operation that assists hundreds of people in Gwinnett County and in other areas of the state. Additionally, the Quinn House is a licensed Food Bank in Georgia that operates out of downtown Lawrenceville. During the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays, they supply boxes for Family Holiday meals. The Quinn House enjoys special opportunities to assist families, and for many years, they have been able to provide gifts to over 300 needy children on Christmas morning. With the population growth of Gwinnett County, this Program continues to grow every year.

    During the holiday season, the Quinn House distributes paper angels, like the ones in the image on the left. Written on these hand decorated angels is the name of a child, the child’s age, and a toy they would like for Christmas. The HR Strategies Staff displays these angels in their front entry way, and internal employees and clients alike take angels and purchase the gift associated with each child. In December, these gifts are loaded up and taken to the Quinn House, who distribute the gifts to children all over Georgia on Christmas morning.
