Director of Benefits
As Director of Benefits, Renee oversees the daily operations of the benefits department including enrollments, terminations, qualifying events, medical support notices, COBRA and reconciliations. In addition, she works with underwriters, brokers, new clients and their employees to coordinate the implementation of new client benefit plans. She is also responsible for benefit Open Enrollment.
Renee has 20 years of HR leadership experience with responsibilities across multiple industries including Human capital management, insurance, manufacturing and logistics.
She began her HR career with Wachovia Bank (now Wells Fargo) in the Corporate Training & Development Department while attending college at Georgia State University.
Before joining HR Strategies, she was the Managed Services Benefit Manager at Ultimate Software.
Renee has a proven track record of accomplishments as a successful Senior Human Resources professional and People Manager in diverse and multi-functional environments. Her extensive experience includes the implementation and administration of Employee Benefit Programs.
Renee holds her PHR & SHRM-CP Certifications in Human Resources.
