Jim Beesley, Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Office, Jim is ultimately in charge of the executive direction of HR Strategies. It is through his vision of value perception and a service model of customizable boutique HR Solutions, rather than a “one size fits all” concept that HR Strategies is moving to the forefront of the Human Resource and PEO industry.

Jim entered the PEO industry by opening the Stone Mountain Group in 1991 to relieve small business owners of Human Resource administration burdens. He then merged Stone Mountain Group with Vincam in 1996, and continued to serve as Area President. In 1999, Vincam was acquired by ADP, and Jim continued to serve as Area President and a Controlling Person for ADP. He has also spent several years with other PEO’s in the sales and operations departments. In 2007, Jim purchased Allstaff HR Group and continues to serve as CEO of the re-branded HR Strategies. 

Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Mercer University. In addition, he has been a co-founder of the state chapter of our professional association NAPEO, and acted in leadership roles on a state and federal level in the industry for 19 years.  In 1997, Jim was an essential part of the state legislation passed in behalf of the PEO industry in the State of Georgia. He has spoken several times at industry conferences and has published several articles on the PEO industry.

Bob Kirschner, Chief Development Officer

Bob brings extensive experience in strategic planning, business development, and senior company leadership, having successfully led the development and growth of over 25 concepts in 19 industries and encompassing over 30,000 locations, with a focus on current customers, and new customer growth.

Bob joined HR Strategies having most recently served as Chief Operating Officer for Kids ‘R’ Kids International, a national franchisor of 165 domestic locations and a Master Franchisor in China. Prior to joining Kids ‘R’ Kids, Bob was a consultant working with start-ups, through mature brands to identify and implement growth strategies, focusing on distribution methodology including franchising, distributorships, dealerships, manufacture wholesale direct to market, and two and three step distribution models in a multitude of industries and company types.

Bob has worked with well-known companies including Textron Financial, where he led the distribution finance sales team and business development for several industries. He worked with Kraft Foodservice where he developed and franchised four restaurant concepts utilizing Kraft captive brands. Bob also worked with Hallmark Cards where he held numerous sales, marketing, and product distribution assignments.

During Bob’s career he has been involved in several leadership and entrepreneurial roles distributing products and services through franchising and several channels of distribution across North America and several international markets. These brands include; Discovery Point Child Care, Great American Cookies, Deck The Walls, The Great Frame-Up, Ashley Avery’s Collectables, Framing and Art Centre, Mathnasium, JCB Construction Equipment, Electrolux North America, Forest Homes, Alloy Wheel Repair Services, Pathway Polymers and others.

Corporations have entrusted Bob to bring an entrepreneurial perspective to their company and to utilize his innovation and professional style and skills to cultivate strong customer relationships, create and leverage major opportunities, and lead the organization and its’ customers to enhanced revenue and profitability.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia State and received a Certified Franchise Executive designation from the International Franchise Association in 2000. He is active in the IFA, the Southeast Franchise Association, and the Georgia Childcare Association. Bob is married with three married children and five grandchildren, all living in metro Atlanta.

Georgiana Britt, Vice President of Operations

As Vice President of Operations, Georgiana keeps everything running smoothly by making sure that all departments are working together to effectively service our clients. In addition, she is responsible for the database management of our HRIS system, our first contact for IT support, and oversees the operational functions of HR Strategies.

Georgiana holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Management. She entered the PEO business in 1993 as Payroll Manager for Stone Mountain Group, and later became Vice President of Operations for them. In 2007, Georgiana joined our team as Vice President of Operations.

Angie Passmore, Director of Payroll Operations

As Director of Payroll Operations, Angie not only oversees the daily operations of the payroll department, but also is responsible for maintaining our high level of accuracy and satisfaction of our payroll clients. In addition, Angie is responsible for setting up and managing new clients through their first few payroll cycles. She supplies clients with customized reports and helps with the management of garnishments.

Angie is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Prior to joining our team in 2004, she was responsible for all aspects of payroll, human resources, and benefits administration for a school supply company.

Susan Clotfelter, Director of Human Resources
As Director of Human Resources, Susan manages the HR team and provides HR guidance and support to our clients. Susan’s expertise is in all Human Resource areas, such as HR compliance, performance management, employee relations, and management coaching. Her role is pivotal in keeping our clients compliant with the ever-changing laws and regulations of today’s world.

Susan has extensive Human Resource experience, previously working in a variety of HR management roles in the corporate world, as well as an independent Human Resources Consultant. Susan holds a B.S. degree with a major in Human Resource Management and an MBA from Auburn University. She is a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Brandy Barden, Chief Financial Officer

Our Accounting Department is overseen by Brandy Barden, Vice President of Finance, who oversees the daily operations of the accounting department and is responsible for the internal accounting of our company, the payment and management of all payroll taxes and accounts, and the day to day banking activities for HR Strategies.  She comes to HR Strategies with a background of 10 years in the public accounting industry, and her education consists of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a Master's Degree in Business Administration.

In addition, Brandy is responsible for overseeing the daily processes of the finance department.  She is also responsible for researching and answering notices received from tax agencies as well as audit assistance for all the different types of payroll tax audits our clients receive.  Brandy’s main daily activities include the management of the internal accounting of HR Strategies.  This includes the daily accounting as well as the preparation of our monthly financial statements. 

Russ Berkhan, Vice President of Sales

As Vice President of Sales, Russ’ duties are to manage and direct our sales staff and brokers, and he is ultimately in charge of selling the customizable Human Resource solutions we offer. It is through his vision and efforts that we develop new markets and strategic partnerships, therefore gaining new clients. In addition, he also aids in the development of marketing materials to reach our current and prospective clients, allowing them to see the many ways that our solutions will aid them in growing their own business.

Russ has over thirty years experience in sales for many industries including retail, construction & development, franchise, and PEO. He joined our team in 1994, after originally being a client for two years. Russ has received numerous sales awards over the years including sales person of the year, district sales manager of the year, president’s club, and top producer. Russ has also served on the Board of Director’s for Eastside Bank & Trust.

Kim Williams, Director of Benefits

As Director of Benefits, Kim is responsible for overseeing the entire function of benefits administration including enrollments and claims and making sure everything is handled efficiently, accurately, and to our client’s satisfaction.  In addition, Kim is responsible for setting the policies and procedures for our benefits department to ensure that everything is running smoothly. She also is involved in the reconciliation of benefits; the research of discrepancies with carriers and the resolution.

Before joining our team in 2007, Kim worked for a small business entrepreneur for 16 years handling all aspects of office administration including benefits, payroll, and accounting. 

Tanya White, Director of Workers' Compensation

As Director of Workers’ Compensation, Tanya is responsible for managing all facets of workers compensation administration including Claims Management, OSHA Compliance Assistance, and Safety Training. In addition, she is also responsible for annual audits, Policy Renewals, Collection & Payment of premiums, Certificates of Coverage, and OSHA Reporting.  She holds a Georgia Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster License as well as SHRM-CP certification.

Prior to joining our team in 2003, Tanya was a 911 Communications Officer.
